A subsidiary of tech giant Dell, VMware is a subsidiary specialising in cloud computing and software services.

Highlighting the importance of data and information in today’s society, VMware hosted a 1.5 day event at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore. The event saw hundreds of top-level executives coming together for the conference. Attendees were also briefed on trends and information regarding the I.T sector.

What we did:

Specialising in conferences, ETG proposed a 15m*3m* wide LED wall that was split into 3 segments throughout the event.

• 2 x 16:9 ratio segments on the left and right hand side of the wall to play content
• 1 x 4:3 in the middle that served as a holding slide and reinforcing VMware’s brand identity at the same time

Our moving lights and washes were also secured to various rigging points on the ballroom’s ceiling, a safe and cost-effective way as it reduces the use of trusses.

Understanding the need for an ambient sound experience, front-fill and delay speakers flanked the sides of the ballroom.  Monitors were also strategically placed at the front ensured that the ETG experience is one where quality will never be compromised.
