Learning @ Work

Since the start of August 2017, ETG has had the privilege to have two of our interns, Hidir & Jane from Ngee Ann Polytechnic to come onboard and assist us with our busy workload.

We at ETG strongly believe in Benjamin Franklin’s quote:
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
We view both Hidir & Jane as not just interns but future audio-visual professionals by involving them in our events.

A learning experience –

Final year students in AudioVisual Technology course, the duo were able to apply what they have learned at school to their fellow team mates at ETG.

Apart from their support at our past few events, Hidir & Jane has shown an eager attitude towards learning. Their constant engagement with the team taught them skills on how to operate equipment in our warehouse. By doing so, the interns ramped up their confidence and had ample room for trial & error by learning in-house first.

Both the full-time staff and our dear interns were able to exchange knowledge and experiences with each other, thus making it a fulfilling learning experience for all.
